What is there to say?

20 years NHS: a big chunk of that time as a paramedic, and a big chunk of that working solo on a RRV (Rapid Response Vehicle). I’m one of the lucky ones, I managed to escape early(ish).

Life before Ambo?

20 years in management, part of which was spent in one of Her Majesty’s colonies, which became a ‘territory’ by the time I left. Perhaps more of that later.

Life after Ambo?

Still in a bit of limbo. Still seeking a purpose, my ‘ikigai’1. Life is certainly quieter and I don’t miss the job one bit - burnout? Quite possibly.

Interests

Seems to be the done thing to fill this bit in:

Married, dogs, walking, gardening, bit of photography. Used to be into home brewing big-time - decided that a garage full of booze and loads of time on my hands was not a good combination, so the brewing was on hold for a couple of years, but is now up and running again.
